Anticipation, hope, joy, and trepidation are part of any new beginning. Like the birth of a child, we are enthralled by the potentials and possibilities for Colorado Springs in the coming year.
As people of prayer, we determine to humble ourselves and intercede, to seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways so that God’s healing and forgiveness can manifest. We look forward to His presence in our community: our families, churches, schools, workplaces, hospitals, government offices, banking, and media centers.
In April, 2008, the Awakening America leadership summarized indicators of what a genuine awakening in our culture would look like. Their findings are a good index for prayer. They can be found at http://www.awakeningamerica.us/docs/general/SummitSummary_Final.pdf
